The Perfect Starting Point to Explore Volterra and Its Surroundings. Our farmhouse offers 4 independent rooms on the first floor and 2 on the ground floor, providing comfort and privacy for your Tuscan getaway.
You will be welcomed into spacious, warm-toned interiors with breathtaking views of the nature park. Upon waking, you might spot grazing wildlife such as deer, fallow deer, wild boars, hares, foxes, squirrels, and many other of our “friends.”
Each room is named after the wonderful plants that thrive in the surrounding area, such as Lavanda, Malva, Iris, and Erica, which you can discover along the many trails of the Berignone Nature Reserve.

Guests can enjoy our typical dishes indoors, in the vast salon, or outdoors, in the shade of our centuries-old cypresses. In addition to our restaurant services, we also prepare pre-booked picnic snacks for you to enjoy within the natural park

Explore Volterra and Beyond
The Reserve, an area of over 2000 hectares of natural, unspoilt bushland, is traversed by numerous tracks ideal for trekking. Young and old alike can explore the forest, guided by signs and information posts which provide useful data on the biodiversity of the park. The landscape is dotted with breathtaking vistas of numerous streams and water courses where guests can escape the summer heat.
The boom gate indicates the entrance to the various paths located within the reserve. Continuing along the main path, you arrive at Podere il Pino, an information, relaxation and refreshment point, with an equipped picnic area.
In addition, outdoor enthusiasts can, by booking with partner companies, visit the reserve on horseback and mountain bike.
